What do you know about installing wire mesh in cattle fence?

Jun. 08, 2026

As everyone knows, domestically sold cattle fence netting is manufactured in rolls. Unevenness of the mesh surface during installation is a common problem, meaning it's unavoidable due to the inherent structure of the netting itself. The lengths of the top and bottom wires are different, preventing some netting from being fully unrolled.

This uneven unrolling makes installation quite difficult, especially if the posts are already in place. How can this problem be solved?

The main solution is to shorten the distance between the posts. The shorter the distance between the posts, the smaller the fan-shaped area of the unrolled netting (grassland netting).

However, the distance between posts varies depending on the intended use of the netting. When the bending of the mesh is not significant, the distance can be slightly longer.

Cattle fence netting is a product that utilizes tensile strength for installation, thanks to its vertically overlapping warp and weft weaving structure. Because of the uncut nature of the warp wires, cattle fences can be installed by tautening the warp wires. This method results in a cattle fence with excellent toughness, greatly improving its protective effect. The cattle fence installed in this way has the following characteristics: high toughness, flat and beautiful appearance, strong defensive capabilities, and improved overall integrity.
