PET polyester gabion mesh has a smooth surface, maintaining its pristine appearance even after years of use, free of burrs and rust.
In coastal areas, it is used for slope protection, foundation pit support, rock face netting and shotcreting, slope vegetation (greening), deep-sea isolation netting, and underwater fencing for deep-sea aquaculture cages, protecting seawater from pollution. It is also used as railway and highway fencing, and can be made into gabions and mattresses for erosion protection of rivers, dikes, and seawalls. Gabions for reservoirs and river diversion provide long-term protection of riverbeds, are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, and are recyclable.
Because of its non-conductive properties, polyester allows for the application of hexagonal mesh woven from polyester as fencing in forests, mountainous areas (especially high-altitude areas), and substations, preventing lightning strikes during thunderstorms and severe convective weather.
Lightweight: PET gabion mesh weighs only 1/5 the weight of ordinary gabion mesh, making it particularly suitable for remote areas inaccessible by vehicles (especially mountainous areas, coastal areas, hilly areas, basins, deserts, and snowy areas). Construction is convenient and quick, saving manpower and resources, thus reducing construction costs.
Acid and alkali resistant: PET polyester gabion mesh effectively resists acids and alkalis, making it particularly suitable for protective fencing in coastal areas, snow-covered areas, volcanic areas, and saline-alkali acidic areas. It will not age even after many years of use. The new polyester material is recyclable and environmentally friendly.
